Mental and Physical Health Services

There are many physical and mental health resources available to the campus community. 

Counseling Center

The MU Counseling Center provides a variety of mental health services for MU students at no additional cost. Depending on clinical need, Counseling Center professionals see students within a brief therapy model. Group counseling may be recommended; both brief and longer term group options are available. The center also provides crisis intervention and consultation services during regular business hours. Services offered include:

Testing Services is also housed within the Counseling Center and offers a variety of paper-based and computer-based tests, including placement, credit by examination, credentialing for technical and professional fields, and graduate and professional school admissions.

Student Health Center

The MU Student Health Center provides an integrated approach to students’ health and well being. The center provides comprehensive services including medical care, behavioral health services and health promotion and wellness classes, programs and services.
