Mental and Physical Health Services
There are many physical and mental health resources available to the campus community.
Student Mental Health Services
The MU Counseling Center provides a variety of mental health services for MU students at no additional cost. Counseling Center professionals see students for up to 12 individual counseling sessions depending on clinical need; there is no limit on group counseling sessions. The center also provides crisis intervention and consultation services during regular business hours. Services offered include:
- Individual counseling

- Crisis intervention
- Consultation to anyone concerned about an MU student
- Programs and workshops
Testing Services is also housed within the Counseling Center and offers a variety of paper-based and computer-based tests, including placement, credit by examination, and credentialing for technical and professional fields.
