Maximizing the Mizzou Student Experience

At Mizzou, the Division of Student Affairs touches on every aspect of the student experience. Our staff members deal with where students live, and we also focus on how students live. We help students at work and students at play. We nurture them through the food they eat and the advice, health careservices, facilities and other resources we offer. We welcome them — and their families — into life at the university, starting before they set foot on campus and continuing into the years beyond graduation.

Work on Campus

Student Affairs offers flexible, on-campus employment opportunities for students. We hire more than 2,000 students a year.

Student Affairs in a Sentence

All residence halls offer a living and learning environment through design of the building and programming so every incoming freshman can benefit and succeed by living on campus. All students live in one of more than 40 different thematic or general learning communities and 100-plus different Freshman Interest Groups, in which students with similar interests live, take classes and participate in special programs together.
