Campus Dining Services awards more than $7,000 in scholarships to student employees

Columbia, Missouri – Campus Dining Services awarded scholarships to nine student employees at its annual reception April 24.

Jeremiah Meyer, an accounting major from Liberty, Missouri, was named the 2014 Student Employee of the Year and received a $1,250 scholarship.

Eight students received $750 scholarships for successfully managing academics, work and extracurricular activities while demonstrating leadership in their various endeavors. These students are:

  • Megan Bennett, chemical engineering major from Belton, Missouri
  • Lauren Cahill, theatre major from Iowa City, Iowa
  • Audrey Case, German and art history major from Edwardville, Illinois
  • Matthew Foster, architectural studies major from St. Louis
  • Jordon Hoffman, sustainable agriculture and interdisciplinary studies major from Columbia
  • Hilary Mueller, psychology and communications major from Kansas City, Missouri
  • Alexandra Sopocy, strategic communications major from Deer Park, Illinois
  • Samuel Weiger, broadcast journalism and geography major from Arlington, Texas
