Describe your job.

Interior design assistant: My job holds a broad range of responsibilities from meeting with reps, working on floor plans, organizing the resource library, to running errands. Whatever the day throws my way!

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is that every day is different! One day I’ll be in the office working on AutoCad and the next day I’ll be running errands all day long.

How have you contributed to a successful work environment at your position?

I like to remind myself to keep a positive mindset and to write down where I am at on all my projects. Those things and lots of coffee ...

How has this position prepared you for employment opportunities?

This position has given me so much real life experience in just a short time! I know by the time I graduate, I will be able to go into my work field with a vast knowledge of what goes into an interior design department.

What personal growth have you gained from this job that you feel could benefit others?

I have gained a lot of project management, organizational, and time management skills that I know I wouldn’t have gained from other jobs!
