Student Affairs cultivates a positive living and learning environment that will result in healthier, happier students.
Our students learn leadership, communication and social skills in more than 400 student organizations and through interaction with the Student Affairs staff. They develop life skills through community service, volunteer opportunities and leadership programs. They learn problem-solving skills that give them a competitive edge in the workforce.
Facilities are being renovated and reconstructed with today’s and tomorrow’s students in mind. Students live in new residence hall communities that offer all of the amenities of home. The nationally acclaimed Student Recreation Complex provides leisure and fitness opportunities. Mizzou’s dining program continues to earn recognition for overall performance in food, service and hospitality. The renovation and expansion of Brady Commons will create a new student center with double the space for our students to meet, study, relax and dine.
We are proud of what we offer our students, but we must continue to enhance programs and improve facilities to meet their ever-changing needs. Alumni, parents, students and anyone else can help.
You can support Student Affairs by making a gift to the Mizzou Student Experience Fund or by designating your gift to one of the many programs that benefit our students. Gifts to the Mizzou Student Experience Fund will be used by the vice chancellor of Student Affairs for important programs and projects that enhance the Mizzou experience for all students. Through this fund, we can meet an urgent need or take advantage of an unplanned opportunity.
