Mizzou Student Foundation
The Mizzou Student Foundation is an organization dedicated to serving students and the Mizzou community. Our goal is to educate the student body about the importance of charitable giving to the University and the opportunities afforded to Mizzou students as a result of private donations.
In an effort to help students understand the significance of these donations, the Mizzou Student Foundation works diligently throughout the year to raise awareness among students. We host several awareness and fundraising events including Mizzou Student Foundation Week and Mizzou Mile. In addition, members of Student Foundation serve as student ambassadors for several important University events, including the Jefferson Club and Chancellor's Society.
Every semester, Student Foundation raises money towards a textbook scholarship fund for working Mizzou students. To date, we have awarded over $2,000 in scholarships to deserving students. 100% of the money raised from Student Foundation fundraising events goes directly to this scholarship fund.
The Mizzou Student Foundation is now accepting applications for new members! Deadline for submission is 5pm, Friday, December 18, 2009.
