From the Desk of William Stackman, Vice Provost for Student Affairs

I want to give a shout-out to all the students who work in Mizzou Student Media. You may know Mizzou Student Media by its various parts: The Maneater newspaper and MOVE magazine, radio station KCOU, and television station MUTV.

Mizzou Student Media help students practice the Missouri Method, a style of learning journalism by doing, which gives Mizzou grads an edge in the professional world.

Students who work in Mizzou Student Media balance classes with late-night production meetings, reporting shifts and everything in between to practice their journalism skills and keep our campus informed.

KCOU earned national recognition at the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Media Conference in March, while The Maneater recently won several awards at the Missouri College Media Association conference earlier this month.
