Taking care of your home
- Before you head out, whether it’s a few days or the entire break, double check the following:
- Unplug all appliances except refrigerators
- Close and lock your windows and doors
- Pause or move delivery dates for mail and packages
- If you’re leaving your car, make sure to lock and remove valuables and belongings
- Visit the Off Campus Housing Marketplace for additional resources and education on how to keep your home safe.
- Do you live on campus? Excellence, Hawthorn, Brooks, Mark Twain and Rollins desks will be open and accept mail 10 a.m.-8 p.m. throughout the break. Your mail will be distributed daily to your mailbox in your hall. Packages can be retrieved from the open desk in your neighborhood.
